Intensive Care Nurse New

Job Title: RN-ICU

Location: Madison, WI

Gross Weekly: $2,340/Wk

Start Date: 06/30/2024

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night 3x12 36 Hours 7-7

Duties:

• Continuously monitor critically ill patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Give medications, IV fluids, and blood products accurately and on schedule.
• Provide emergency care including CPR, defibrillation, and ventilator management.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Operate and monitor life-support systems such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Communicate patient status clearly to doctors, families, and other healthcare staff.
• Accurately document care, changes in condition, and procedures performed.
• Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols to protect vulnerable patients.
• Provide support to patients and their families during stressful and emotional times.
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other ICU staff to deliver coordinated care.
